Locum Cardiovascular Surgery Physician Assistant Opportunity in Illinois New

Are you a skilled Physician Assistant with expertise in cardiovascular surgery? We're seeking a dedicated professional to join our team for an impactful role starting March 2025.

Job Details

• Ongoing commitment with a minimum of 6 shifts per month for at least 6+ months.
• Evening call schedule in an inpatient setting.
• Pager-based call for emergent cases, with an average callback of 1.
• Adult patient population
• Credentialing timeframe: 60-90 days
• Charting with EPIC

Requirements

• At least 12 months of cardiovascular operating room (CV OR) experience, including Endovascular Vein Harvesting (EVH) for CABG.
• Ability to function independently in the OR, including vein harvesting, upon arrival.
• Active Illinois licensure (required at the time of application).
• ACLS certification and board certification or eligibility within 5 years in Cardiovascular/Thoracic Surgery (CAQ) or as a Certified Physician Assistant.
